The same ugly money that bought the last election for conservatives (and a couple moderates) is showing up to try to defeat Alexis Mercedes Rinck with tens of thousands of dollars and probably much more to come.

You have to know that when George Petrie, a guy who started giving monthly to Trump right after January 6th drops $5000 to fund efforts to paint Tanya Woo as “progressive” - we are living in a world beset with lies. Steve Bannon famously counseled conservatives to “flood the zone with shit” - and the message seems to have found its way to Seattle.

(He is joined by plenty of non-MAGA folks, but as we've seen from the national scene, big money is happy to align with MAGA to get what they want together—lower taxes for them, fewer services for everyone else.)

Not In Our City

We have to keep fighting beat back money-fueled lies in our community.
