As you know, I have endorsed Alexis Mercedes Rinck, a promising candidate running for Seattle City Council, Position 8, a city-wide seat.

Alexis has real policy expertise and front-line experience delivering services to people in need. She has also worked across multiple governments and agencies bringing them together to work together and deliver real impact to citizens. That’s the kind of leader we need.

She is running against Tanya Woo—whose positions put her far to the right of the Democratic party.

I am cohosting a North Seattle brunch for getting out the vote for and I’d love for you to join me on Sunday.

It’s time for us to show up, volunteer, donate, and sign over democracy vouchers!
