Primaries, Retirements & Police Fights, Oh My
A Great Discussion of Recent Political Events in Washington
If you haven’t discovered “Hacks and Wonks,” I recommend it. It’s a great podcast on regional policy and politics. The host, Crystal Fincher, is a political consultant and invites on cohosts to discuss important issues we face.
This last week, she was joined by the Chair of the Sierra Club, Robert Cruickshank, as her guest host.
They had a wide ranging discussion of the Presidential Primary in Washington State, the Governor’s Race, former Washington State Speaker of the House Frank Chopp’s retirement, the new Seattle City Council’s approach to police recruitment, and the City of Burien’s fight over homeless encampments with King County Sheriff’s department.
I highly recommend you listen along.
You will find plenty here to agree and disagree with. But, one way or another, it is an informed, fast-paced discussion about a host of important topics in the region.
You can listen to Hacks and Wonks online, on podcast players from Spotify, Apple, Google, or a host of other providers.
